Let's Go Places Summer Series - Alhambra

Can't travel this summer? No problem! Join us at Meeple Movers for "Let's Go Places," our special summer board game series. Every Sunday, we'll embark on a new staycation adventure, traveling through national parks and far-away lands from the comfort of our cafe. It's the perfect opportunity to learn exciting new board games and create lasting memories with friends and family. Can't go anywhere this summer? Let's go together!

What are we playing?  

Step into the shoes of a master architect and build your very own Alhambra palace! In this super fun game, you'll be snatching up beautiful building tiles—like courtyards, towers, and gardens—from the bustling market. But here's the twist: you have to pay for them with the right currency from your hand! The cooler a building, the more it costs, so you'll be trying to make "exact change" to get a bonus turn. It's a race to see who can build the most magnificent palace, all while trying to create the longest continuous wall around your masterpiece. It's easy to learn but full of exciting choices, making every game a unique and rewarding puzzle!

What to expect:

👉 New to the scene? No worries, our friendly crew will guide you to gaming glory and a great time.

👉 Cost of gaming paradise? Just $7 (plus tax) per person. Each child 12 and under, play free with a paying adult.  That gets you a clean play space, a library of games for pre- and post-quest fun, and most importantly, a blast!

Fuel up for your quest! We've got a cafe stocked with delicious goodies, from pizza to hot pretzels!  And wash it all down with craft beers, ciders, wine, sodas, teas, and more. (Please leave your outside food and drinks at home.)
